Sometimes we believe we avoided disaster. 
But what if disaster avoided us? 

In this reflection inspired by a verse in the bible, I talk about the accidents that missed us, the illnesses that passed by, and the moments that could have gone very differently. 

We focus so much on what’s going wrong that we forget to be grateful for what didn’t go wrong.
