America, it seems, is ready for a Black President!

"America is not ready for a black president." Looks to me that, not only is America ready for a black president, America is about to have a black president. His name is Barack Obama. Not only that, it looks to me that America is also about to have a woman vice president. Her name is Hillary Clinton. I have been clued to CNN since the begining of the 2008 presidential Elections. As a NON US citizen you would think I do not have NO interest in American Politics. Wrong Baby... I do... Besides, my two sons, Woodring and Woodring, are U.S. Citizens, they were born in the United States of America, AND, in case you didn't know, Barack Obama's father is an immigrant just like me. Although I have yet to become a US citizen I am so happy to be alive to witness what is about to happen in what everyone agrees is "The greatest country in the world." There is a belief amongst Haitians that "Haiti will never change." You know something... It is Bull Sh*t !!! Haiti WILL change and I will live to see OR make it happen. I never thought I would live to see the day when a Black man becomes "The President Of The United States or America..." Well may be On TV but not in real life. Let's not forget... we the people of Haiti DID initiate the IDEA that a black man can govern a country... You do know your history don't you? Toussaint Louverture was the first ever Black leader in the new world. It looks to me that Barack Obama is about to become the United States' Toussaint Louverture. Hip Hip... Hoo Rayyyyyy!
